Find your way to our Cambridge venue on the edge of the Charles River. We’re central to several MBTA stops on the Green and Red lines, a less-than-five-minute walk from the Museum of Science and 10 from downtown Boston; Logan Airport is four miles away. Incoming guests will want to note that Longfellow Bridge is currently closed for traffic traveling from Boston to Cambridge (but remains opens for Cambridge-to-Boston traffic flow). For guests attempting to enter Cambridge via the Longfellow Bridge, just continue on Charles St. until you reach Rt. 28 O'Brien Hwy. Take a Left onto O'Brien Hwy and a second left onto Edwin H. Land Blvd just past the Museum of Science. Kimpton Marlowe Hotel will be the second driveway on the right!
From the North via I-93 South
- From I-93 South, take Exit 26 (Route 28/North Station).
- On the exit ramp, stay in the right lane as the road splits and follow signs to Route 28 North/Leverett Circle/North Station.
- After the split, stay in the middle lane and proceed through the light.
- The street veers left and goes under a set of large green train tracks. Once underneath the tracks, take an immediate RIGHT onto O'Brien Highway/Rte. 28 North, toward the Museum of Science.
- Continue on Rte. 28 past the Museum of Science (on the left).
- At the first intersection after the museum, take a LEFT onto Edwin H. Land Boulevard.
- Kimpton Marlowe is located approximately 100 yards down on the right-hand side.
From the North via Route 1
- From Route 1 South, cross the Tobin Bridge.
- Stay to the left through the tollbooth. Follow signs to "Boston / I-93 South," staying left as the road splits in the tunnel after the tollbooth.
- When you exit the tunnel, the road begins to loop to the right. Get into the right lane, and take the first exit for Route 28 North/Leverett Circle/North Station/Storrow Drive.
- On the exit ramp, stay in the right lane as the road splits and follow signs to Route 28 North/Leverett Circle/North Station.
- After the split, stay in the middle lane and proceed through the light.
- The street veers left and goes under a set of large green train tracks. Once underneath the tracks, take an immediate RIGHT onto O'Brien Highway/Rte. 28 North, toward the Museum of Science.
- Continue on Rte. 28 past the Museum of Science (on the left).

From the South (on I-93 North)
- From I-93 take exit 26.
- Take the exit onto I-95S toward Chester
- When the road splits off the exit ramp, stay to the LEFT for Leverett Circle/North Station/ Rte. 28.
- At the first set of lights, make a slight RIGHT onto Rte. 28 North.
- Continue on 28 past the Museum of Science (on the left).
- At the first intersection after the museum, take a LEFT onto Edwin H. Land Boulevard.
- Kimpton Marlowe is located approximately 100 yards down on the right-hand side.
From the West/Mass Turnpike I-90
- From the Mass Turnpike/I-90, take Exit 18/Allston/Cambridge (left-hand exit).
- Get in the right lane after the tollbooth.
- Bear right at the split in the exit ramp, following signs for Cambridge/Somerville.
- Continue straight through the lights and cross over the River Street Bridge into Cambridge (crossing the Charles River).
- At the end of the bridge take a RIGHT onto Memorial Drive. Stay on Memorial Drive by following the 'CARS ONLY' signs.
- Memorial Drive splits three separate times for bridges that cross the river into Boston. At the first fork, stay in the LEFT lane.
- At the second fork, stay in the LEFT lane.
- At the third fork, stay in the RIGHT lane (following signs for Land Boulevard).
- After the third split, Memorial Drive becomes Land Blvd. Once on Land Blvd., take a LEFT at the second light onto Cambridgeside Place.
- Take your next RIGHT onto First St.
- Take your next RIGHT onto Rte. 28.
- Stay in the right lane as you proceed through the first light.
- At the second light take a RIGHT.
- Kimpton Marlowe is located approximately 100 yards down on the right-hand side.
From Storrow Drive East
- Head east on Storrow Drive.
- Continue all the way to the end of the road. You will pass the Hatch Shell on your left, and Mass General Hospital on your right. As you approach Leverett Circle, get in the left lane and follow signs for Rte. 28 North.
- Bear left toward Rte. 28 N/ O'Brien Highway (do not take 93 North).
- Turn LEFT onto Rte. 28 North/O'Brien Highway.
- Continue on 28 past the Museum of Science (on the left).
- At the first intersection after the museum, take a LEFT onto Edwin H. Land Boulevard.
- Kimpton Marlowe is located approximately 100 yards down on the right-hand side.
From Logan International Airport
Kimpton Marlowe is easily accessible from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). From BOS, a cab takes 10-20 minutes depending on traffic and the fare is about $24-$28 before tolls and tip. Driving directions:
- From the main airport roadway, follow signs for Route 1A / I-93.
- Enter the Sumner Tunnel; stay in the right lane (look for signs to Storrow Drive).
- As you exit the Sumner Tunnel, bear right into the tunnel for Storrow Drive/Rte. 3.
- Stay to the left in the tunnel.
- Bear LEFT, following signs for Rte. 28 N/O'Brien Highway.
- Continue on 28 N past the Museum of Science (on the left).
- At the first intersection after the museum, take a LEFT onto Edwin H. Land Boulevard.
- Kimpton Marlowe is located approximately 100 yards down on the right-hand side.
From the MBTA (Subway) Green Line
Kimpton Marlowe is approximately a 7-minute walk from Lechmere Station.
- Take a Green Line MBTA train/shuttle to Lechmere Station.
- Exit the train to the right and follow signs to Cambridge Street.
- Walk under the train tracks, cross Cambridge Street and turn LEFT.
- Continue down the street and turn RIGHT at the second traffic light.
- Cross over a small bridge over the canal, and Kimpton Marlowe is on your right.
From the MBTA (Subway) Red Line
- Take the Red Line train to Kendall/MIT Station.
- Exit the station, and once at street level cross the street going away from the station to the Marriot Hotel.
- Enter the Marriot and pass straight through the lobby, exiting on the other side.
- Once outside, turn RIGHT and walk to the first set of lights.
- Face LEFT and cross the street, continuing onto 3rd Street.
- Take a RIGHT onto Binney Street and continue until you reach Edwin H. Land Blvd (this will be the end of Binney Street at a T-intersection).
- Take a left on Edwin H. Land Blvd.
- Continue straight and cross Rogers Street going toward Cambridgeside Place.
- Pass Cambridgeside Place and Kimpton Marlowe's entrance is on the left.
